Actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo, has clapped back at online trolls who criticised her for rewearing the same shoes she wore on her wedding day to a recent public event.

The media influencer dismissed the backlash, saying she would live her life on her own terms regardless of public opinion. Priscilla stressed that as long as her family, friends, and genuine fans are proud of her, “every other person’s opinion is just noise.”

She also voiced concern about the unhealthy pressure social media exerts on young women, pushing many to maintain unrealistic lifestyles beyond their financial capacity.

“My generation girls are living in delusion, thinking I should only wear Jimmy Choos once just because my fanbase is bigger now,” she said.

“This is exactly why many girls feel pressured by social media to fit into an unrealistic standard — trying to be a ‘big girl’ when they can’t afford it.”

The entrepreneur and fashion icon emphasised that her choices reflect confidence, self-awareness, and independence — values she believes young women should embrace instead of seeking validation online.

“My life will go however I want it to go. As long as my family, friends, and honest fans are happy, every other person’s opinion is just noise,” she reiterated.

Priscilla’s response has since sparked debate online, with many fans applauding her for promoting financial authenticity and self-confidence in a social media era often driven by excess and pretense.
