Award-winning Nollywood actress Eve Esin has officially married her Ghanaian lover, Suleman, in a beautiful traditional ceremony held over the weekend in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The actress, known for her captivating screen performances, had earlier teased fans with breathtaking pre-wedding photos on Instagram before videos of the colourful ceremony surfaced online.
Family members, close friends, and a few Nollywood colleagues attended the event, which was filled with vibrant cultural displays and emotional moments.
During the traditional segment of the ceremony, Eve Esin’s mother offered heartfelt advice to her daughter, urging her to “prioritise her marriage above celebrity life” and remain grounded despite fame.
Eve Esin, 39, hails from Akwa Ibom State and holds a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Calabar. She left her banking career in 2008 to pursue acting — a move that established her as one of Nollywood’s most respected stars, featuring in numerous hit films and winning multiple awards over the years.
