Newly appointed Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has announced his first-ever provisional squad, naming 35 players for Nigeria’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe this month.

The list features a blend of experience and fresh talent, with Ahmed Musa returning to the squad alongside assistant captain William Troost-Ekong and Joe Aribo. Chelle has also handed call-ups to six new faces, including home-based stars Papa Mustapha, Kayode Bankole, and Ifeanyi Emmanuel Onyebuchi.

The Super Eagles will face Rwanda in Kigali on March 21 before hosting Zimbabwe on March 25, as they look to revive their World Cup qualification hopes.
