Airport Police Arraign Mark Agbor Over Alleged Helicopter Sale Video

The Airport Police Command has arraigned 47-year-old Mark Agbor over alleged impersonation and unauthorised access to restricted areas at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMA), Lagos. The case follows a social media video in which he allegedly claimed ownership of two military combat helicopters and offered one for sale.

According to the command, Agbor allegedly uploaded the video on October 7, 2026, expressing his intention to sell one of the aircraft to prospective buyers. The allegations have raised security concerns because of the restricted nature of airport operations and military equipment.

The spokesperson for the Airport Police Command, Adeola Mohammed, disclosed the development in a statement on Tuesday. He said Agbor, an employee of Pathfinders International Limited, was transferred to the command’s International Division by the Provost Investigation Unit of the Nigerian Air Force in Ikeja for further investigation and necessary action.

The police said investigations were completed before Agbor was brought before a court of competent jurisdiction. The case has been adjourned until November 18, 2026.

The Commissioner of Police for the Airport Police Command, Olufunke Ogunbode, described the alleged conduct as a serious security concern. She warned that actions of this nature could compromise the operations of security agencies.

Ogunbode assured the public that the case would be handled in accordance with the law. She also commended the Nigerian Air Force for its cooperation with the command during the investigation.

The police commissioner said the incident underscored the importance of collaboration among security agencies in identifying and addressing potential threats to airport safety. She urged companies and other stakeholders operating within the airport environment to strengthen employee screening, vetting and background checks to reduce the risk of security breaches.

The Airport Police Command reaffirmed its commitment to professionalism, inter-agency cooperation and the protection of lives and critical national infrastructure. It also urged members of the public to remain vigilant and support efforts to maintain a safe airport environment.
