Speed Darlington Sends Warning to Carter Efe Ahead of October 1 Celebrity Boxing Bout

Nigerian rapper and social media personality Speed Darlington has issued a warning to comedian and content creator Carter Efe ahead of their highly anticipated celebrity boxing bout scheduled for October 1, 2026.

The two entertainers are expected to face each other at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, as part of the ‘Chaos in the Ring’ series.

Speed Darlington has continued to build anticipation for the contest with provocative remarks directed at Carter Efe, adding to the rivalry between the two entertainers ahead of their meeting in the ring.

The upcoming fight will mark Speed Darlington’s second appearance in the celebrity boxing circuit. His previous outing was against singer Portable in 2025, when he suffered a defeat.

Carter Efe, on the other hand, enters the contest following his victory over Portable in May 2026. The comedian won the three-round bout by unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring the contest 30-27 in his favour.

Tensions between the two entertainers have also escalated during promotional activities. At their official press conference, both men were involved in a heated confrontation and had to be separated by security personnel.

The October 1 contest will be the first time Speed Darlington and Carter Efe meet inside a boxing ring, following exchanges that have largely played out on social media and during promotional events.

The ‘Chaos in the Ring’ event will also feature other bouts, including a WBO African Light Heavyweight Continental Championship clash between Nigeria’s Godday Appah and Ghana’s Seth ‘Freezy Macbones’ Gyimah.
