Actress and evangelist Tonto Dikeh has announced the launch of New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), an interdenominational Christian fellowship based in Abuja.
Dikeh announced the initiative in an Instagram post, describing NWPT as an “interdenominational altar, spiritual home, and global movement of consecrated believers.”
The fellowship is designed as a gathering focused on prayer, spiritual growth, revival and Christian fellowship. Its welcome message encourages members to deepen their prayer lives, connect with other believers and pursue what it calls “the secret place.”
Dikeh said the movement was established to provide a setting where believers can seek spiritual renewal and experience what she described as the “raw power, purity, and presence of God.”
NWPT takes its foundation from Mark 2:22, the biblical passage about new wine and old wineskins. The fellowship said its broader vision is to encourage a global awakening of committed Christians who can live out their faith and contribute to the transformation of society.
Its stated mission includes building an interdenominational platform for prayer and revival, providing apostolic training, equipping believers, developing spiritual gifts and promoting evangelism.
The fellowship has also adopted the acronym FIRE for its four core values: Flame of Intercession, Intimacy and Consecration, Revival and Soul Winning, and Empowerment through Deliverance and Healing.
NWPT said it is “not a church” but an “intense gathering” of people committed to pursuing the purposes of God. The fellowship is scheduled to hold every Friday at 6pm in Jabi, Abuja.
