Big Brother Naija Season 11 took another dramatic turn on Thursday as Flora was officially informed that she is one of this season’s Gambits, a secret role that comes with strict conditions and high stakes.
During her diary session, Big Brother formally revealed Flora’s assignment, warning that her identity as a Gambit must remain hidden from the other housemates throughout the game.
“Flora, you are the Gambit. From this moment on, your identity as the Gambit must remain a secret. If you reveal your identity, you may be disqualified,” Big Brother told her.
The announcement left Flora visibly emotional as she struggled to hold back tears while processing the responsibilities attached to the role.
Responding to the revelation, she admitted the challenge ahead would not be easy.
“I will try my best. I do not think staying longer is enough,” she said.
Flora’s confirmation comes just days after Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced during Sunday’s live eviction show that viewers had selected Flora and Aikou as the two Gambits for BBNaija Season 11. While the audience has been aware of the twist since then, the remaining housemates are still unaware of the duo’s secret identities.
Aikou was officially briefed on his assignment during his diary session on Wednesday, while Flora received hers on Thursday, completing the pair’s induction into the special role.
As Gambits, Flora and Aikou are no longer in contention for the ₦160 million grand prize. Instead, they will serve as Big Brother’s undercover agents, carrying out secret missions designed to influence events, relationships and gameplay inside the house without revealing who they really are.
