Popular Nollywood actress and television host Nancy Isime has shared her thoughts on parenthood, revealing that she may choose not to have children despite her love for them.

The actress made the remarks during an appearance on the “Thanks For Coming” podcast, where she was asked about her plans for starting a family and the number of children she would like to have.

Rather than discussing a specific number, Isime reflected on the realities of modern life and the challenges many people face, suggesting that bringing children into the world is a decision that deserves careful consideration.

According to her, genuine love for children can sometimes lead to the conclusion that not having them may be the kinder option, given the difficulties and uncertainties people encounter throughout life.

“You know the craziest thing about loving children? I feel like if you really love children, you wouldn’t want to bring them into the world,” she said during the interview.

The actress went on to question whether the struggles many people experience daily should make prospective parents think more deeply about raising children in today’s world.

“Are you not suffering today? Have you not seen me today? Is earth not ghetto? Are you not going through a lot?” she asked while explaining her perspective.

Her comments have since sparked conversations online, with social media users divided over her views. While some agreed that economic and social challenges make parenthood a difficult decision, others maintained that raising children remains a personal choice shaped by individual values and circumstances.
