The ongoing separation between media personality Frank Edoho and his estranged wife, Sandra Edoho, has taken a dramatic turn after Sandra publicly accused the veteran TV host of repeated infidelity, emotional abuse and financial misconduct during their marriage.
Sandra made the allegations in a lengthy series of posts shared on her Instagram Story on Thursday, days after Frank Edoho confirmed that their marriage had ended and divorce proceedings were ongoing.
The controversy erupted amid online rumours linking Sandra to an alleged affair with Nigerian singer Chike, claims that recently gained traction across social media platforms.
Responding to the backlash, Sandra denied wrongdoing and instead accused the former “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” host of maintaining relationships with multiple women throughout their marriage.
She alleged that some of the women involved included actresses and a former Big Brother Naija housemate, while also claiming she possessed video evidence and financial records to support her accusations.
Sandra further accused Edoho of emotional neglect, alleging that he frequently disappeared for days and subjected her to years of distress while she remained committed to the relationship.
In one of the most explosive parts of her statement, she claimed that an alleged affair began while she was pregnant with their first child and accused him of denying her affection during the marriage.
She also accused the broadcaster of financial irresponsibility, alleging that she handled major household expenses, school fees and supported members of his family financially.
According to Sandra, Edoho allegedly spent large sums of money on hotels, lounges, apartments and other women, while also selling one of her properties without her consent.
“Throughout the emotional, physiological, mental and physical torture and abuse, I stayed committed, faithful, shielding you,” she wrote in part of the statement.
Before Sandra’s response, public discussion had largely centred on allegations of an affair between her and singer Chike, though no verified evidence has been released publicly to confirm the rumoured relationship.
Frank Edoho had earlier addressed the collapse of the marriage in a public statement, revealing that the couple had been privately separated for almost two years before news of the divorce became public.
“Over the past few days, I’ve received an outpouring of kind messages, prayers, concern, and goodwill regarding my separation and ongoing divorce proceedings,” he wrote.
“While I understand that the public is only just becoming aware of this chapter, I have lived through it privately for quite some time now and have since made peace with it emotionally.”
As of the time of filing this report, Frank Edoho had not publicly responded to the allegations made by his estranged wife.
The development has continued to generate intense reactions online, with social media users divided over the claims and counterclaims emerging from the troubled marriage.
