The founder of Light Nation Church, Femi Lazarus, has announced plans to temporarily relocate from Nigeria to Kenya, describing the decision as a major turning point in his ministry journey.
The announcement was made during a church service in Kenya, where the congregation responded with loud applause as the cleric spoke about what he called a divinely guided transition.
A video of the service, now circulating widely online, shows the preacher explaining that the move is not random but part of what he believes to be a new spiritual assignment. He said the relocation represents a shift in focus and direction for his ministry outreach.
Lazarus stressed that the gathering carried deeper meaning than a routine church service, describing it as a spiritually significant moment for him and his team.
According to him, the church is more than a physical space for worship. “We didn’t just come to listen to the word. We came recognising that this is not just a church, but a gate,” he said during the service.
He also revealed that the instruction behind the move had already been shared with a respected spiritual figure prior to the public announcement, suggesting early private consultations within his leadership circle.
Lazarus added that his visit to Kenya was also meant to receive spiritual impartation and support as he prepares for what he described as a new phase of assignment.
“It is a very significant morning for us in this new phase of our assignment. We came to be impacted and launched forth here,” he said.
The development has drawn attention across social media, where reactions continue to grow as supporters and observers discuss the implications of his temporary relocation for his ministry operations in Nigeria.
