The All Progressives Congress (APC) has resumed its electronic membership registration exercise across Nigeria, the party announced on Tuesday.

In a statement issued in Abuja, Felix Morka said the exercise will be conducted in wards and designated registration centres nationwide. Members are encouraged to validate their details, while new participants are invited to join.

The party clarified that all registrants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).

“The e-registration exercise is designed to digitize the Party’s membership register, ensure the integrity of records, enhance efficient access to membership data for planning and management decisions, promote internal democracy, and strengthen the Party’s commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria,” Morka stated.

Earlier on March 2, Nentawe Yilwatda highlighted the role of the electronic system in boosting the party’s internal structures and electoral competitiveness. Speaking during a public presentation in Abuja, Yilwatda said the adoption of technology-driven membership processes has strengthened party organisation and mobilisation across the country.

The move comes as political parties across Nigeria increasingly turn to digital solutions to streamline membership verification, improve planning for campaigns, and reinforce internal democracy ahead of elections.
