United Kingdom – Nigerian content creator Kolu has reportedly been arrested in the United Kingdom after an altercation with UK immigration authorities.
The incident came to light when Nigerian musician Candy Bleakz shared details on her Instagram page. She revealed that Kolu traveled to the UK under her sponsorship and that the arrest occurred while they were preparing to board a flight back to Nigeria.
According to Candy Bleakz, the content creator could not locate his passport, which led to a confrontation with immigration officials.
“I already explained to Kolu that he is going to the UK on my name, and if he does not come back to Nigeria, it is going to have a huge effect on me. So we wanted to board a flight, Kolu couldn’t find his passport,” she said.
She added that she had instructed him to remain calm and locate the passport, but the situation escalated into a dispute with immigration authorities. “He thought it was Nigeria. He has been taken to the station. I have been at the station since morning trying to communicate with them because I don’t want them to return Kolu to Nigeria through deportation,” Candy Bleakz explained.
The musician expressed concern over potential repercussions on Kolu’s travel records and passport due to the incident.
