American rapper Cardi B has confirmed her separation from NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs, following days of speculation about trouble in their relationship.
The rapper publicly acknowledged the split while responding to comments made by fellow rapper BIA, who appeared to reference Diggs in a social media post.
BIA wrote: “Can u name someone with more bms than receiving yards? I can! and I know that. ykwnvm.” The remark was widely interpreted as a dig at Diggs amid rumours of the couple’s separation.
During a performance in Los Angeles on Sunday as part of her Little Miss Drama Tour, Cardi B addressed the speculation directly.
“Let me tell you something. Just because I ain’t f***ing with my baby daddy doesn’t mean you get to talk about my baby daddy,” she told the crowd, signalling that although the relationship has ended, she would not tolerate public disrespect toward him.
Reports suggest the split followed allegations that Diggs cheated. However, neither party has publicly detailed the reasons behind the breakup.
The confirmation comes just three months after Cardi B reportedly welcomed a child with Diggs, while her divorce proceedings with ex-husband Offset remain ongoing.
Neither Diggs nor his representatives have issued a public statement regarding the separation.
