The First Lady of Imo State has hailed Joseph’s Pot, a leading restaurant in Owerri, for its outstanding role in promoting the state’s rich hospitality culture and traditional cuisine to global audiences.
The commendation came during a courtesy visit on 29 September 2025, when the restaurant’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Joseph Obasi — fondly known as CruisewithJoe — led his team to the First Lady’s office in Owerri.
During the visit, the Joseph’s Pot delegation presented the First Lady with a bowl of the restaurant’s signature dish, Ofe Owerri, a delicacy widely regarded as a symbol of warmth, unity, and culinary pride in the region.
