Many feared dead as two vehicles collide in Osun

Many people were reportedly burnt to death as two vehicles collided in Ode-Omu town in Ayedaade local government area of Osun State.

Although the accident occurred on Friday evening, but as at the time of filing this report, it is not clear how many persons were involved in the accident.

Apart from the deceased victims, many people were also said to have sustained various degrees of injury.

It was gathered that two vehicles had a head-on-head collision and the vehicles caught fire which resulted in many casualties.

Confirming the incident, Osun Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, spokesperson, Agnes Ogungbemi said one of the vehicle carried gas which exploded during the collision and resulted into the fire outbreak.

Her word; We are yet to ascertain the number of casualties, but all the injured victims have been taken to a hospital in the town for treatment.
