Ancelotti reveals Real Madrid player who performed well against Girona

Real Madrid head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, said that winger Vinicius Junior was the only player from Los Blancos to perform well against Girona during Tuesday’s La Liga tie.

Real Madrid suffered a shock 4-2 defeat at the Montilivi against Girona on Tuesday night.

Valentin Castellanos netted all four goals for Girona against Real Madrid, as Vinicius was on the scoresheet for Ancelotti’s side.

Following the match, Ancelotti lauded Vinicius for his performance.

The former Chelsea manager said (as quoted by @theMadridZone on Twitter): “Vinicius was good; he got a goal and assist, but the whole team? No.

“We weren’t forceful; we have left too much space.”

Real Madrid’s next game is against Almeria this weekend.
