The Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau have altered their travel plans for their trip to Abuja for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday three encounter against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Baciro Cande’s men were earlier scheduled to travel to Abuja on Tuesday for the game.

According to the information on the official website of the Guinea-Bissau Football Federation, the Djurtus will now embark on the trip to Nigeria on Wednesday.

The team is now expected to train for two days in the country’s capital, Bissau before jetting out to Nigeria for the game.

Twenty-five players, backroom staff and officials of the Football Federation are expected to make the trip to Abuja.

The Djurtus camp officially opens in Bissau on Monday.
