Congratulations to Nigerian singer Tems on winning her first Grammy award!

Tems, also known as Temilade Openiyi, made history as the 27-year-old Afrobeats sensation won the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance‘ category for her role in the hit song ‘Wait for U’ featuring Future and Drake. This marks a major milestone in Tems’ already impressive career and is a testament to her talent and hard work.

Although Burna Boy was not able to take home a Grammy this year, losing in the ‘Best Global Music Album’ and the ‘Best Global Music Performance’ categories, it is important to acknowledge his contribution to the African music scene and the impact he has made globally.
