A non governmental organisation in Zamfara State has challenged the federal government over its silence on the attack on the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) and its members in the state.

The group known as Peace for All in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Gusau, by its secretary, Emmanuel Nwachukwu said it has become very questionable, the inability of the Zamfara State Police Command to fish out those behind the deadly attack on the state’s chairman of NUJ and other pressmen.

The NGO alleged that Nigeria was fallen back to the old days of barbaric acts against journalists, warning that the organization would not relax in its efforts until the perpetrators of the dastardly act are brought to justice.
