Two unemployed men were on Monday docked in an Upper Area Court, Karu, Abuja, for allegedly swindling a trader of N11,000.

The police charged Mohammed Abubakar, 48, and Thompson Ola, 42, of Karmajiji village, Abuja, with joint acts of cheating.

The Prosecution Counsel, Ade Adeyanju, told the court that sometime in September, the defendants walked into the complainant’s shop and collected three bottles of perfumes worth N11,000 with a promise to transfer the money electronically.
