The Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology (NACEST), Makurdi, on Thursday, disowned a website claiming to be receiving acceptance fees from applicants

Capt N Okezie, Acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology, Markurdi in a statement on Thursday, described the website as fake and therefore warned the general public from doing business with it on behalf of the school.

In the statement, the management of NACEST said the College has no knowledge of the illegal portal (www.nacest.com) nor does the College have any link with the portal.

“For the avoidance of doubt, accurate information about all the programmes run by Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology can be obtained on the NACEST website: www.nacest.edu.ng.”

It said application forms for any programme of the College are obtained only through the application platform as all payments are made online through the application platform.

“The general public is therefore cautioned against any dealings with this website: www.nacest.com. Anyone who transacts any business with them does so at his or her risk.” It said
