As part of the activities marking the Independence Day celebration, Onyx Royale Hotels and Suites will have top Imo state celebrities performing at the Independence Hangout.
The event which is tagged Onyx Exclusive Pool Vibez will be one of the biggest fun moments as Nigeria clocks 62 years as a sovereign nation.
Speaking to otowngist, Mayor Mike who is one of the performing artists at the event said that the event which is designed to celebrate Nigeria’s Independence Day on October 1st is geared at promoting unity amongst Imolites.
The event which will feature musicians, comedians, actors, dancers and other stakeholders in the industry, will also see hundreds of fans receive maximum entertainment from their favorite celebrities, according to Mayor Mike.
“We’re expecting a whole lot of Imo State based musicians, comedians, poets, dramatists, and celebrities who will be performing till dawn that day”, he said
The event is billed to kick off by 3;00pm on October 1, 2022 at Onyx Sports Bar and Apple Lounge located at plot C 3, Works layout off IMSU junction Owerri, Imo State.
“I want to assure everyone that it will be a night of music, comedy and dance, with DJ Slam and DJ Boss on the wheels of steel”,
The Independence Hangout will feature Egbeigwe Apama, Nonso Nkwa, Mc Badmouth, Mc Duke, Mc Holyparrot, amongst other comedians.
Other entertainers to feature at the event include Dtwins, Cezzy Yano, Owerri Chic, Yungcris, CBN, Hypeman Afrodex, Mike Conga, DJ Holimajik, Princeboy, Unique Dancers, Darling Dancers, Mc Donvill, amongst others.
