The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 23-year-old Kuje prison escapee, Abubakar Mohammed.

Abubakar, who is said to be facing terrorism charges and had been at the Kuje prison since 2017 before the recent breakout at the facility, was picked up in days of surveillance exercise along with 12 other suspects.

The Adamawa State Police Command said Thursday that Abubakar was trying to relocate to his native home in the Bama Local Government Area of Borno State when he was picked up around an Adamawa-Borno borderline.
