The Osun State Government has announced a new date for the resumption of pupils and students of both public and private schools in the state.
The state government announced May 9 as against an earlier announced 2nd of May for the commencement of the 2021/2022 third term academic session.
The new directive is contained in a press statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Adelani Aderinola.

He further stated that the new date is informed by the public holidays which fall within the first three days of the earlier announced resumption date.
Aderinola enjoined parents and guardians to use the opportunity to keep custody of their children and wards preparatory to the newly announced date of resumption.
