The governor of Imo state with other members of the executive council has shown their delight in receiving an award from the state ministry of science and technology.
Hon. Emelumba the commissioner for information who made this known stated that the ministry went to the National Science and Technology Exposition contest in Abuja and came home with the trophy.
The 2022 EXPO contest was held in Abuja from 14th through 18th of March 2022.
 Activities that marked the event included an opening ceremony, technical sessions, platforms for interaction between investors, innovators, and researchers, and a presentation of the best three young scientists in the country.
The state ministry of science and technology beat its counterparts in the contest and brought home the national trophy.
 The award was formally presented to the Governor by the Imo State Science and Technology Commissioner during the Exco meeting.
