Gov. Uzodinma vows to tackle Insecurity Issues in Imo

Governor Hope Uzodinma has condemned the recent insecurity threats in the state.

Recently in the state, there has been an imbalanced atmosphere of peace raging from insecurity, and other vices.

Governor Uzodinma stated that these activities are making the state inconducive for its citizens and other inhabitants.

The speech which was made on his social media handle frowned against the destruction of lives and properties by unknown individuals parading as members of IPOB.

” In recent times, we have witnessed an imbalance in the peaceful atmosphere we had restored in the State, as the hoodlums have relaunched attacks on public institutions, lives, and properties of Imolites.

“It has become obvious, the deceptive practice by these hoodlums, hiding under the identity of IPOB to perpetrate these heinous crimes while IPOB innocently struggle to exonerate themselves,” he said,

He also assured Imolites measures are been put in place to eradicate these hoodlums and restore the usual peaceful atmosphere the land is known with.

“we will continue to fight against them, our approach might be time-consuming we are conscious of the need to avert casualties but be rest assured, that my administration is committed to peace and tranquility in the State and we will achieve this in no distant time.”

Governor Hope Uzodinma said his administration has been a product of massive support and as such will look into matters disturbing the peace of the state.

” The progress of my administration has largely been a product of the massive support by Imolites and I would ensure they are not disappointed by my actions”
