During his appearance on Monday, on Channels Television’s Politics Today, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State, highlighted the landmark achievements of his administration’s industrialization policy.
While responding to questions, Gov. Uzodimma said his people-oriented ideology of governance was responsible for the achievements being recorded at all levels.
The widespread infrastructural development across Imo State aimed at restructuring the Eastern Heartland of Nigeria to a 21st Century *State, * bears credence to Gov. Uzodimma’s passion for people-oriented service.
The Governor enumerated the economic policies of his administration, which he emphasized was largely hinged *on Agriculture* and SMEs *development, * as the State progressively diversifies to economically-viable sectors.
In this regard, the State-owned Commercial Enterprises that had been moribund for years, have been rehabilitated and are now operating at maximum capacity.
With the enormous arable land and other natural resources that Imo State is endowed with, the Governor announced the State’s partnership with world-class Organizations and the Federal Government leading to the establishment of agro-processing zones in the State. This and many other economically-viable partnerships are expected to offer greater employment opportunity for Imo people and their economic growth.
Governor Hope Uzodimma used the medium to stress the strong unity in his party, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). According to him, the stronger the party grows, the more dividends of democracy it would deliver to Nigerians.
While urging Imolites of various expertise to support the growth of the State, the Governor expressed7 gratitude to them for identifying with his administration, as the State sees progressive transformation.
