Bandits have attacked another community in Ondo State, a few days after Molege, a neighbouring village was razed.

DAILY POST gathered that a community known as Okeluse in Ose Local Government Area of the state came under heavy attack around 10pm.

The Okeluse invasion is coming two weeks after Molege community in the same council area was attacked by herders where three people were killed and houses set ablaze.

Residents of Molege had disclosed that no fewer than 50 herders who were fully armed with Ak-47 rifles laid siege on their community after they prevented them from grazing cows on farmlands within the community.

During the attack on Okeluse, the manager of a filling station in the community was said to have been hacked to death by the bandits alongside his assistant.

The security situation in the Ose Local Government in the Northern Senatorial District of the State has now worsened following the attacks.

After the attack on Molege, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who had vowed that the perpetrators will be nabbed stressed that herdsmen were becoming problematic.
