Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola has charged the people of the State to rally round the government with a view to sustaining the current development.
He maintained that every responsible government must be committed to the sanctity of good and productive governance.
Oyetola, represented by his Special Adviser on Civic Engagement, Mr Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, on Wednesday, noted that good governance was key to sustainable socio-economic development.
Speaking during an engagement programme organized by the Osun State Civic Engagement Centre in Eti-Oni Asalu, Oriade South LCDA, the Governor said his administration would continue to uphold the pace of good governance in both ideas and principles, especially in the area of infrastructural and human capital development.
He charged the people of the State to, “rally their support round the government beyond the current dispensation with a view to sustaining the current development.”
