Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State Governor has expressed shock and sadness at the death of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members travelling to the state after their orientation exercise in Jalingo, Taraba State.

Buni, in a statement made available to DAILY POST on Thursday by his spokesman Mamman Mohammed, described their death as tragic and painful, consoling their families, friends and relations.

“It is painful losing these young men at their prime but as faithful, we have to accept it as the will of Almighty Allah which is destined to happen at this time,” he said.

The governor prayed to Allah to admit their souls into Aljannatur Firdaus and grant their families the fortitude to bear the loss.

It was gathered that four of the deceased were graduates of Yobe State University while one of them graduated from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State.
