In The Evening Of Yesterday, 15/09/2021, Mr Chinedu Moses Received An Unfortunate News That His Father, Mr Udah Moses, Who Has Been Sick Died In His Village, Umueleke Community In Ehime Mbano LGA. Quickly, Mr Chinedu Moses Rushed Home To Behold The Lifeless Body Of His Father. Later In The Night Of Yesterday, He Brought His Father’s Corpse To Owerri And Deposited Him At ALADINMA HOSPITAL MORTUARY, Before Driving Down To His Residence At Ikenegbu Layout Extension. Along MCC Road By St
John’s Laboratory Junction, Mr Chinedu Moses Was Stopped By Officers Of Imo State Police Command, Anti-Kidnapping/Tiger Base Unit. They Asked Him Where He Was Coming From, Of Which He Explained That He Went To Deposit The Body Of His Late Father In The Mortuary (ALADINMA HOSPITAL MORTUARY). He Showed Them Mortuary Receipts.
Rather Than Sympathise With Him, The Police Officers Shamelessly Accused Him Of Being An IPOB Member, Started Beating Him And Was Forcing Him To Enter Their Hilux Van.
Afraid Of His Life, Sensing That The Worst Could Happen (Extrajudicial Killing, Which Has Indeed Become The Trademark Of Officers Of Imo State Police Command), Mr Chinedu Moses, Who Was Alone At The Time Of His Intimidation And Harassment By These Police Officers, Abandoned His BUS IMO Vehicle And Ran For His Dear Life. The Police Officers Drove His Vehicle Away.
In The Morning Of Today, 16/09/2021, Mr Chinedu Moses Came To My Ikenegbu Layout Extension Residence To Complain To Me And To Cry His Heart Out. After He
aring His Story, I Sympatized With Him On The Death Of His Father. I Also Instructed Him To Go To Imo State Police Command And Check If His BUS IMO Vehicle Was There. He Was Afraid, But I Assured Him That Nothing Would Happen To Him Since He Is Neither A Member Of IPOB, Nor A Criminal.
He Visited The Imo State Police Command, Lo And Behold He Saw His BUS IMO Vehicle Parked At The Anti-Kidnapping/Tiger Base Department. On Further Enquiry, The Police Officers Who Seized The Vehicle Showed Up And Started Beating Him, Accusing Him Of Running Away The Previous Night With Guns. But When Mr Chinedu Moses Asked The Officers If It Was Possible For Him To Run Away With Guns In The Night, And Report Back To Them In Morning, The Very Corrupt Police Officers Simply Asked Him To Go And Bring N30,000, If He Ever Hoped To See His BUS IMO Vehicle Again.
It Is A Big Shame That Police Officers Recruited, Trained And Paid With Tax Payers Money, Are Today Criminals And Armed Robbers, Terrorising Innocent Citizens

I Am Mandating The Imo State Commissioner Of Police To Immediately Direct The Release Of The Seized BUS IMO Vehicle, DAIHATSU BUS, With Registration Number IMO WER 304 ZS To Mr Chinedu Moses, Whose Only “Crime” Was That He Went And Deposited His Late Father, Mr Udah Moses, At ALADINMA HOSPITAL MORTUARY Last Night (15/09/2021). The Commissioner Of Police Should Also Ensure That Those Officers Are Severely Punished For Painting The Imo State Police Command Black.
If By Tomorrow, 17/09/2021, The BUS IMO Vehicle (DAIHATSU BUS) Is Not Released To Mr Chinedu Moses, I Will Petition The Inspector General Of Police.
