NIGERIAN songstress, Eniola ‘Niyola’ Akinbo has made her acting debut in Kunle Afolayan’s new feature film, ‘Swallow.’

Niyola takes on the lead role of Tolani Ajao in the adaptation of Sefi Atta’s best-selling novel.

Niyola, who has been off the radar as a result of a brief hiatus, was tasked with taking on the role of a bright-eyed young woman who tries to make it in the obstacle-ridden Lagos.

Afolayan opts for a retro film look that pays perfect homage to a nostalgic past in the cinematic masterpiece.
