Worried by the spate of complaints by workers in the State over unpaid salaries and deductions, the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Imo State chapter, says it will forward a list of unpaid workers to the Imo State government.

This is coming on the heels of recent protest by pensioners in the State who on Monday, took to the streets of Owerri, to protest non payment of pensions.

Four pensioners reportedly collapsed during the protest.

The State government has consistently insisted that it is owing no worker a dime, as those claiming non payment are ghost workers.
