Imo State Police Command has arrested a 47 year old man Uchenna Egbuchulem for raping and impregnating his 17 year old Daughter.
The suspect who hails Nduhu, Alaenyi Ogwa Community, in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State, according to police report forced his 17 year old daughter Adaku Egbuchulem to bed and threatened to kill her with a matchet before having canal knowledge of her.
The man according to police investigation started taking advantage of his daughter when his Ivorian wife divorced him and went back home, ensured she kept her mouth shut with death threats.
Men of Mbaitoli Police Divisional Headquarters arrested Uchenna Egbuchulem after receiving a report from a Good Samaritan and will continue investigation into the matter to ascertain his motives and the amount of damage done to the girl.
According to the Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ikeokwu Godson Orlando, the suspect Uchenna Egbuchulem will be charged to court accordingly after investigation.
