INEC suspends election in Rivers State

Due to gross Electoral violence, gross misconduct and abduction of INEC adhoc staff, the Independent National Electoral Commission has suspended ded elections in Rivers State till further notice.

The suspension followed serious of negative reports from the state amidst complaints of citizens of heavy military presence in the state ahead of the 9th March election.
