The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere has called on Nigerians of dangers of getting used to any situation they find themselves, describing such trend as dangerous and retrogressive.

Prince Madumere made the call earlier today while speaking to the congregation of Chapel of Praise during a Special Mothers’ Day Church service at his country home, Lake Malinda, Achi-Mbieri, Mbaitoli local government area of Imo State.

Prince Madumere charged the congregation to discountenance the idea of settling for anything, adding that such complacency has brought so many people to ruin. He averred that most great men have had to refuse to be stopped by their challenges as they defied such trials to move ahead.

Drawing home his point with the story of Jabez, he preached against the notion of believing that bad situation is a function of destiny, saying that one’s destiny is a function of what the person says it is since God has given man freedom of choice.

He therefore admonished Nigerians to be positive and aim for the skies with hard work, determinations and prayers.

Earlier in his sermon, the Chaplain of Chapel of Praise, Venerable Sunday Iherue reading from Genesis chapters 11, 12, he narrated how God called Abram who deviated by first journeying to other places and the consequences there on. He charged the congregation to explore their God given talents and spirit to lift themselves rather than fall and remain there for death.

Lifting God’s promise from Romans 8:1 and from where Prince Madumere read from as the second lesson in the book of Luke chapter 23, he said since God has declared that there shall be no condemnation to those who are in Christ and that Pilate in consonance with God’s promise declared that he “found no charge against The Lord Jesus Christ”. He asked; if God has made  declarations upon man to conquer his world, why would anyone give up for mere challenges of life?

He therefore admonished Christians to emulate the life of Christ who was unstoppable during  ministry on earth to fulfill God’s Will of God The Father.
