Ugezu J. Ugezu, is known in Nollywood as Mr. Surplus, is a graduate of Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
He is an actor, screenwriter, film maker and Highlife Singer who holds the traditional titles of Ayaka Enugwu-Ukwu & Okwulu Igbo Na Umunri.
Ugezu J. Ugezu believes that a filmmaker should not make a film that has no message and that a singer should not create a song without a message.
People that watch his films are addicted to his style and all those that listened to his songs said they are packed with messages.
