Speaking to www.otowngist.com, the facilitator of the event Deejay Saquo, said one of the major problems of the industry has been promoters lying to the public on who they are bringing for a show and the result of this deceit has grossly dealt with the credibility of the entertainment industry in the state and beyond.

“We have to include only the people we can bring down to Owerri and not just filling the list with people who are not even aware that we are using their names.
It is a big shame some people are still doing it, but Star Nite is something we want to build with credibility and I don’t think deceit will help the change we want to enforce in the industty” He said.
He however promised that Star Nite will remain a top event in Owerri as there is no plan to compromise in quality.
Other names on the list of artistes include K large, Ray D, Real B, Zona, C4 Xplosive, Ms Zoe, Arty Ready, while Psychobarz and Kokomma, KLarge and Sym19 are doubts because they are not in town.
Comedians Mc Ichie and Mc Ash are sure to be there, while dancers Scatter & Sons, Ice babe, Eva, Master piece and Kwincy will be there.
Djs Blaiz, Dy and Tims will be on the steel wheels while top master of ceremony Manosky will replace Real Playa as the Ancho.
Star Nite holds at Valencia Lounge Owerri, with Red Carpet starting by 7pm and the main event 9pm on Friday March 29, 2013.
