Speaking after the signing of the deal, the CEO, Xist Music USA, TBlack, said the label is proud to work with Bouqui who is often referred to as ‘the Rapvangelist’.
“Bouqui has proven worthy of an artiste that could hold her own anywhere in the world and we at Xist Worldwide are so glad to have the ‘Rapvangelist’ as the first African artiste as well as the President of Xist Africa.
This is history in the making and a good thing for Nigerian music and Africa at large” Tblack said.
By that statement, Bouqui will be the head of the African branch of the label while still signed as an artiste in it.
The next thing for her is to record an all-star single with the likes of  Sean Simmonds  Da Truth, Jahaziel and other Xist Music artistes in the next few weeks.
When the single is released, it will be leading her closer to the release of her double CD album ‘Marks of a General’ and ‘Eve Of Independence’
Bouqui hopes to cling to the experiences of label mates such as four time Stellar Award winner and two time Dove and Grammy award nominee, DA Truth; The Ambassado; Mobo Award winning Jahaziel; Sean Simmonds; Yaves and N.F.
