Meca who is a member of the group Mecmen who has been on radio and television interviews for the promotion of his single ‘Say yea’ in Lagos, said his visit to Nigeria would be incomplete if he fails to visit his home state, Imo, and as such is scheduled to have a live interview on Hot 99.5 FM Owerri, as well as another appearance on the Star Lounge of Orient TV’s O’town Magic, a weekly programme that runs every Friday evening.
Speaking to www.otowngist.com, Meca  who is a  Masters degree holder in  Analytical Chemistry said everything is geared at increasing their fan base Nigeria and it is always good that one brings his work to his people because charity will always begin at home.
“We’ve been doing music in the states for some years now and there is need for us to bring it home to Nigeria.
We’ve been on TV and radio station, but the Nigeria things feels so special because this is your home, and where you belong no matter how far you live from it.
Performing at Star Nite will be wonderful because it is going to forge a kind of connection between me, other artistes at the event as well as the city of Owerri”
The single ‘say yea’ was released last year, same thing with the video and Meca said that though he and his brother have decided to release their personal singles, it does not mean they are not still together.
“Menty has his single done and released, and his video will be shot this year as well. We are brothers which means the bond between us is more than music. Blood is thicker than water and stronger than the sounds of music”
