It’s not news that the 2013 African Global DJ Awards is coming up, the awards which holds on the 4th of May at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa would play host to entertainment bigwigs from all over Africa.
The DJs are nominated in sixteen broad categories. These categories also include one for female DJs who are unsung heroes in the DJ profession.
Winners will be decided by a panel of judges (along with popular votes on the website) likely to be headed by Nigeria’s legendary DJ Jimmy Jatt.

The event will be hosted by Barbz of Big Brother Africa fame, Denrele of Channel O, Lerato, Ugandan rapper Navio, DJ Jam Jam from the United Kingdom and Adams Ibrahim of Nigeria’s Soundcity.
