Senior Pastor of Believers’ Loveworld Incorporated (a. k.a Christ Embassy) in Imo State, John Amenkhienan was this morning kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
But in a miraculous way, he walked out of his abductors’ hide-out to safety after about three hours to still minster to the congregation.
The gunmen seized the pastor at the gate of the church’s main branch located opposite NNPC Mega Station off Onitsha-Owerri Expressway in Owerri.

Pastor Amenkhienan had arrived at the church at about 6.30am only to be confronted by four stern-looking armed men who obviously had laid ambushed for him.
It was gathered that the pastor was driving himself when the incident occurred.
The hoodlums forced the driver’s door open, and ordered him to sit in the passenger’s side of his brand new Pathfinder 2012 model before zooming off with him and the car to an unknown destination.
But in what is every inch a miracle, the pastor returned about three hours later this time in a tricycle popularly known as keke.
Addressing the congregation shortly after, Pastor Amenkhienan disclosed that immediately the urchins seized him he burst in tongues.
According to him, the warning by the abductors that he risked having his head blown up should he not keep quiet did not stop him from blasting away in tongues.
He said they later tied his hands and legs with rope and drove him to a bush which geography he does not known where he was handed over to those who were to keep watch over him to ensure that he did not escape.
Pastor Amenkhienan, however, informed that after speaking in tongues for sometimes, he simply walked away from the place he was kept without the guards there raising any eyebrow.
He asserted that except the hoodlums repented immediately, their end has come for touching him.
Incidentally, the church had planned to hold a miracle crusade in Oguta today (Sunday, January 20) by 4pm.
Pastor Amenkhenan maintained that the devil had planned to disrupt the crusade by sending his agents to kidnap him.
He however stated that the miracles which God intended to do during the crusade will take place.
