Reality TV star Josephine Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has accused an Abuja-based hotel of negligence and unlawful detention after she was allegedly attacked by a group of thugs inside her room.

The Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner took to Instagram to share her ordeal, claiming that the incident occurred at Dalchifit Hotel in the Gwarinpa area of the Federal Capital Territory.

Phyna, who recently went viral after a video surfaced showing her in a physical altercation with another woman, said the hotel staff compromised her safety by allowing unidentified men to pass through the main gate and reception area before breaking into her room on the second floor.

“Because I’m Phyna, I’m being forced by a hotel that couldn’t secure me. A hotel that allowed touts through their main gate, through reception, up to the 2nd floor to break down the door. The same hotel that told the touts my room number. I’ve never seen that type of thing,” she wrote.

“Dalchifit Hotel in Gwarinpa allowed touts to come into the hotel to fight me, and now they’re about to lock me up till Monday because I refused to pay ₦3.5 million,” she said.
