One of the TETFUND projects in Imo State University has reportedly collapsed

The incident occurred on Thursday 29 September 2022 in the Faculty of Humanities.

The building which is being constructed by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund, an intervention agency in the Nigerian education sector has been confirmed not more than 3-4 years old

However, it was gathered that the Wednesday rain which came with a heavy downpour blew off the roof of the building and subsequently pulled down the building.

Although, no life was lost, yet the development was again blamed possibly on the use of substandard materials.

Everyone who has witnessed the incident has been thanking God for the ongoing industrial action in the country of which students would have been victims of the disaster.
