Police arrest 30yr old suspected kidnapper in Delta, recover stolen vehicle

Police Operatives from the Issele-Uku Division in Delta State have arrested a thirty-year-old suspected cultist, Onyeka Ozoh who was hiding in the community.

The Police also recovered a red coloured Toyota Camry without a registration number from the suspect.

The Delta State Police Command led by CP Ari Muhammed Ali confirmed the report in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.

According to the Police Image maker, “The suspect claimed that he bought the vehicle at Onitsha at the cost of one million, five hundred thousand naira (#1,500,000) and that all original documents were with the previous owner.

“However, investigations later revealed that the vehicle belongs to a man (name withheld) who was kidnapped on 20/8/2022 at Ozubulu in Anambra State and released after a ransom was paid and the vehicle taken from him.

“Suspect will be transferred to Anambra Police Command for further investigation.”
