Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema has insisted that Lionel Messi-led Argentina are in a very good moment to win this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Benzema said this while commenting on the favourite country to win the World Cup this year.

Argentina are in Group C in the 2022 World Cup and will face Poland, Mexico and Saudi Arabia.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup will start on Monday, November 21, at the Al Thumama Stadium when Senegal takes on the Netherlands in Group A.

Speaking on his favourite country to win the World Cup, Benzema said via ESPN Argentina: “Favorites? Like I always said, in football, there are no favorites. But I believe that Argentina is in a very good moment.

“It is a fantastic team with players like Messi, Di María. It is a great national team.
