Nigeria’s Super Falcons have departed for Rabat, Morocco ahead of the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations, reports Completesports.com.

The players and their players left the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos on Monday morning aboard Royal Air Maroc.

The contingent will arrive at the Mohammed V International Airport , Casablanca around 11:20am today.

They will then make a two hours trip by road to Rabat Center.

The delegation comprises of 25 players; Head Coach Randy Waldrum; his American female Assistant,Shirley and three Nigerian Assistants- Ann Chiejine, Justine Madugu and Auwal Makwalla as well as the medical crew and backroom staff made the trip.

The Super Falcons are pitted in Group C along with title rivals, South Africa, Burundi and Bostwana.

Randy Waldrum’s charges, who are looking to win a record extending 10th title in Morocco will face the Banyana Banyana of South Africa in their opening game on July 4.

The competition will run from July 2 to July 23.

The four semi-finalists will feature at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
