The Isoko Youth Parliament, a Socio-political group in Niger-Delta has expressed anger over the gruesome murder of Christians at St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State.

DAILY POST recalls that suspected herdsmen attacked worshippers in the church on Sunday, killing over 40 persons.

The National Speaker of the group, Rt. Hon. Ajakpofo Andrew, who spoke with newsmen in a Press Conference held in Ozoro on Monday, revealed that Isoko youths were set to stop such attacks in their land.

Ajakpof called on the Christian faithful to jettison the bible teaching that says all vengeance belongs to God, stressing that it is time to face the assailants.

He said, “I think it is high time we Christians forget that part of the Holy Bible where it says, vengeance belongs to God and take the bull by the horn and face these blood tasty demons in human form”.

“Nobody has a monopoly of violence, how can you enter a church and kill people for no reason and someone somewhere still went ahead to hold one useless dinner”.

“We call on all Isoko Youths to be very vigilant to protect every part of Isoko Nation from these blood sucking demons in human form as we can’t allow them to have access to our land”, he added.
