“Nigeria has been rated as the most corrupt country in the world because everybody wants to become rich very quickly without considering what happens to the country, States and Local Governments,” he lamented.

Jekada said that the leaders should understand the ultimate fact that people were now more delicate and sophisticated, capable of reacting and causing instability.

“Those in the government should feel the reactions of the people. The leaders should know that upheavals were connected to decisions of the governments at Federal, State and Local Government levels,” he said.

He advised that leaders should imbibe the spirit of executing wholesome transparency in government.
