A group of young people who identified themselves as members of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT)association in Nigeria have taken to the streets of Abuja to hold a protest.

As seen in a viral post,  one of them who made the video and uploaded it on his Twitter handle declared that they are out to fight for their rights.

This was eventually stirred as a bill for an act to amend same-sex marriage (Prohibition) act 2023 to prohibit cross-dressing and other related matters were tabled by members of the House of Representatives.
